SYNOPSIS

Join us for a remote Zoom conversation with Casting Director, Jennifer Euston, (Dickinson).

“Dickinson” is a half-hour comedy series that audaciously explores the constraints of society, gender and family from the perspective of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson. Set in the 19th century, the series is a coming-of-age story that finds Emily to be the unexpected hero for our millennial generation.

PANELIST BIO

Jennifer Euston -  Jennifer Euston was born in 1974 and grew up in NJ, an avid fan of film and television. Euston began her career in Casting as an intern while attending NYU, Tisch School Of The Arts as a Cinema Studies major. While there, she proudly worked for Howard Stern, where she discovered the craft on his film. Euston’s first job out of college was as Casting Assistant on Law & Order. She then worked primarily with Casting Director, Ellen Lewis, as her Assistant, then Associate on a number of films. She also had the good fortune to work with Ellen Chenoweth, Kathleen Chopin, Marcia DeBonis and Meg Liberman during that time. Euston has been casting on her own for the past 14 years during which she has won 3 Primetime Emmys, 6 Artios Awards and several nominations. Her credits include movies and TV shows, of all shapes, sizes and genres, most notably Orange Is the New Black,Girls, GLOW, VEEP, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (original casting), Dickinson (original casting), Castle Rock (original casting), Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Perfection, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Sleeping With Other People, Bride Wars.
