SYNOPSIS

Join us for a remote Zoom conversation with Casting Director, Jessica Daniels . 

Jessica will be discussing how to prepare for general meetings and how to put your best foot forward and delineating the things that differentiate you as a performer/ make you stand out / more memorable to those you meet.  

RSVP-ed members will receive the Zoom link by email one hour prior to the start of the program, and will be able to ask questions through Zoom's chat function.


PANELIST BIO

Jessica Daniels is an Emmy and Artios Award-winning Film and TV casting director. Some recent film credits include: 40-YEAR-OLD VERSION (Sundance 2020 Grand Jury Prize for Directing), LUCKY GRANDMA (TriBeCa 2019), SELAH AND THE SPADES (Sundance 2019), THE MISEDUCATION OF CAMERON POST (Sundance 2018 US Dramatic Grand Jury Prize), ROXANNE ROXANNE (Sundance 2017 Jury Prize for Breakout Performance to Chanté Adams), WIENER-DOG (Sundance 2016) and WHITE GIRL (Sundance 2016). Television credits include HELPSTERS (Apple TV), WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA (Hulu), AFTER AFTER PARTY (Facebook Watch), DEADBEAT (Hulu), BENDERS (IFC), THE CARRIE DIARIES (CW) 30 Rock (NBC) and STARVED (FX). Since 2014, Jessica has been the NY Pilot Season Casting Director for 20th Century Fox/Fox 21 TV covering pilots and guest casting on shows including FRESH OFF THE BOAT (ABC), AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS. OJ SIMPSON (F/X), GENIUS: EINSTEIN (NatGeo) and TALES FROM THE LOOP (Amazon). Currently, she serves as VP Casting at Walt Disney Studios Television & FX Entertainment in New York City.
