SYNOPSIS
Sara Jane Sherman really knows animation. For Sara, the emphasis is on an actor's ability to actually act, take direction and deliver on the comedic, dramatic and emotional nuances within and animation script. She will take you through various aspects of character development, answer questions about her casting process and give you a better understanding of what it takes to shine in animation voiceover.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Sara Jane Sherman
Sara is an Emmy Nominated Animation Casting Director/ Voice Director/Animation Coach. Sara has recently worked on projects with Warner Bros. Animation, Disney Channel, Disney Television Animation, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, and the shorts department at Cartoon Network.
Before that, she was Jon Stewart's Head of Casting for his animated project with HBO. However, the majority of her casting career was at Disney Television Animation, where she spent 12 years learning how to cast an animated series.
She was the Executive Director of Casting and Talent Relations before leaving at the beginning of 2017. She has worked on such hit shows as Big Hero 6: The Series, Tangled Ever After, Milo Murphy's Law, Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, and Star vs. The Forces of Evil. Her credits also include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Yin, Yang, Yo, Fish Hooks, Club Penguin, Wander Over Yonder, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, and many, many pilots.
REQUIREMENTS
Frequency Restriction: If you participated (RSVP) in a VO Lab program (with the exception of a workout group) over the last 10 days, you are not RSVP eligible for this program. However, a limited number of audit seats will be available to some on the Waitlist. We will contact those on the Waitlist this afternoon.
Participants are required to stay for the entire program.
A computer (optimal), tablet or phone (if applicable) with video capabilities, a microphone (USB, analog or computer mic) and a stable Internet connection (wired is optimal), as this program will be held on an online group/meet platform.
