Join us for a remote Zoom conversation with Casting Directors, Bernard Telsey & Adam Caldwell (Little America).
Inspired by the true stories featured in Epic Magazine, “Little America” will go beyond the headlines to look at the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring and surprising stories of immigrants in America, when they’re more relevant now than ever.
“Little America” is written and executive produced by Lee Eisenberg, who serves as showrunner, and Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon. Alan Yang executive produces through Universal Television. The series is also executive produced by Sian Heder, and Joshuah Bearman, Joshua Davis and Arthur Spector executive produce for Epic Magazine. Heder also serves as co-showrunner alongside Eisenberg.

PANELIST BIOS
Bernard Telsey and Adam Caldwell - Since opening Telsey + Company in 1988, Bernard Telsey, along with his staff of casting directors, associates, and assistants have cast such Broadway shows as Rent, Wicked, Hairspray, In the Heights, Kinky Boots, Hamilton, and more, as well as countless national tours, Off-Broadway productions, and regional theatre productions across the country.
Together, Bernie and Adam have worked on “Little America: (Apple TV Plus), “Tales of the City” (Netflix), To Kill a Mockingbird (Broadway), and the upcoming series “The Gilded Age” (HBO).
Other recent credits between them include the upcoming film adaptation of In the Heights, Broadway’s Oklahoma, West Side Story, and Torch Song, and “NCIS: New Orleans” (CBS).
Telsey + Company won an Emmy Award for casting the pilot of “Ugly Betty” and was nominated for “Fosse/Verdon,” “This Is Us,” “Grease! Live,” “Jesus Christ Superstar: Live in Concert” and “The Big C.” They won an Independent Spirit Award for casting Margin Call. Bernard Telsey was the 2016 recipient of the Casting Society of America’s Hoyt Bowers Award for his contributions to the profession. As an office, Telsey + Company has won over 25 Artios Awards.
Telsey serves as the New York Vice President of the Casting Society of America and on the Board of Governors for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
