SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Actors will choose a scene that most appropriately represents them from Film/Television. Actors are encouraged by the casting director to choose a scene with a role they feel they can Book. The scene should be 2-3 pages long from Film/Television. A reader will be available on Zoom during the class.
All actors will need to email a PDF. of their chosen scene to nycastingaccess@sagaftra.foundation for the reader by 10:00am EST on June 2nd. The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading. If your scene is not emailed by the specified time you will be removed from the class.

Casting Director Bio:
Alan Scott Neal is a freelance casting associate based in NYC. Recent projects include HBO's EUPHORIA, UNCUT GEMS starring Adam Sandler for A24, the television shows MANIAC starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, and THE LOOMING TOWER starring Jeff Daniels, Tahar Rahim, Peter Sarsgaard and Bill Camp, and the films COLD PURSUIT starring Liam Neeson and Emmy Rossum and SUSPIRIA starring Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register
Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will receive a link inviting them to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be sent the link to join the class.
