*** "COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP ONLINE - DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS ***
NOTE: This is a 3 HOUR class that meets over Zoom web conferencing.
If you're struggling in any way when using a computer or looking for help to take the next step, this may be the class for you! During the first half of the class, we'll break down exactly how a computer works to provide a foundation for subsequent learning. During the second half of the class, members can ask any general computing questions so the class will be tailored to fit your needs.
This class is intended for beginners though members with more experience also stand to benefit. No materials are required.
*** COMPUTER LAB RULES ***
SAG-AFTRA Foundation events are open to SAG-AFTRA members only unless otherwise specified.
You MUST bring your paid-up, valid SAG-AFTRA card (or your receipt of current payment) for admittance. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
When you register for an event you are expected to stay for the entire class as a courtesy to our guest speaker(s).
Cancellations must be made by midnight prior to the day of the event.
Late arrivals will not be admitted.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission or service to anyone.
*** NO-SHOW POLICY ***
Failure to fulfill a SEATED reservation or arrival after check-in is completed will be recorded as a “No-Show.”
Two "No-Shows" within 60 days will result in restriction from attending Computer Labs or Classes for 90 days.
*** WAITLIST ***
If you are on the wait list and a spot opens up you will be moved to the RSVP list and notified via email (by midnight prior to the day of the event). You may also check your status at any time by logging into our website. By signing up for the waiting list you are telling us that you are want to attend the event so if that changes please cancel your waitlist reservation. If you are still on the wait list the day of an in-person event you are welcome to show up to see if space is available. You WILL NOT be recorded as a no-show if you are still on the wait list and do not attend or if you show up and do not get in.
