INSTRUCTOR BIO

Randy Thomas

America’s premiere female live voice announcer, Randy Thomas made history as the first woman to announce The Academy Awards©, The Emmy Awards©, The SAG Awards©, The AFI Awards©, to name a few. As the 10-time announcer of The Oscars©, and 20-time Tony© announcer, Thomas has been winning accolades and opening doors for female voice artists for over 28 years. After a decade as the voice of Entertainment Tonight, in 2015 Thomas kicked open even more doors for women as the first woman to announce the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and followed that up by being the live announce voice of the Kennedy Center Honors. Randy is currently the female voice of ABC News, ABC Nightline and GMA3. Notably, earlier this year Randy was honored by Benztown Productions and presented with their Chris Corley Lifetime Achievement Award, which acknowledged her contributions to the voiceover industryand profession  through her incredible body of voiceover work in radio and television.
