CLASS SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A and a 2 min max PREPARED READING session with an experienced casting professional.


ACTION ITEMS

  • Actors will select and prepare a scene 2 minutes or less that you feel best showcases your work.  
  • All actors will need to email a PDF of their 2 minute chosen scene
    • Send email to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation for the reader by 9:00AM PST on November 18th
    • The subject needs to be Casting Access - Thomas Sullivan.  
    • The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading if you are doing a scene.

RSVP'D Actors will receive a ZOOM Invitation to participate. A reader will be available on ZOOM during the class.

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Thomas Sullivan is an Artios award-winning casting director known for his casting of the Oscar-winning best picture 'Green Book’. Other film credits include ‘Dumb and Dumber To’, Hall Pass, Three Stooges, Boon, Murder at Emigrant Gluch, just to name a few.  He recently just wrapped two features one starring Thomas Jane, Gabriel Byrne and Richard Dreyfuss and the second is Pete Farrelly’s next feature ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever’ starring Zac Efron and Russel Crowe.  Right now, Thomas is casting Bobby Farrelly’s feature Champions starring Woody Harrelson and a baseball movie starring Dennis Quaid titled The Hill.  


REQUIREMENTS

Participants must be present for the entire class (see Duration above). If you leave before the class has ended, you will be marked as a NO SHOW.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
