SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Please prepare a scene from a TV show or film of two minutes in length or less.
A reader will be available on ZOOM during the class.
All actors will need to email a PDF. of their chosen scene to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation for the reader by 9:00am PST on February 7th. The subject needs to be Casting Access- Nick Peciaro. The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading if you are doing a scene.
RSVP'D Actors will receive a ZOOM Invitation to participate on the morning of the class.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Nick Peciaro is a casting professional working in theater, television and film. He is currently casting the second season of Showtime's City on a Hill, having cast the pilot and season 1. His most recent Off-Broadway play, Donja R. Love's one in two at The New Group, was a New York Times Critic's Pick. He is currently nominated for his first two Artios Awards—against himself in the same category—for Outstanding Achievement in Casting, New York Theatre (Drama) for Jeremy O. Harris’ Daddy starring Alan Cumming and Sharr White's The True starring Edie Falco. His first feature, Mapplethorpe starring Matt Smith, premiered in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival and played select cities. He previously served as casting assistant on season 7 of the multi-Emmy Award-winning Showtime series Homeland. He has several indie features in development, production and post production.
Born and raised in New England, Nick attended Emerson College in Boston where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies. He is a member of the Casting Society of America and Theatrical Teamsters Local 817. He resides in New York City

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
