SYNOPSIS

For this edition of Voiceover Audition Prep, the focus is on beginner level audiobook narrators (actors with 0-2 audiobook narration creditys). Narrators will need to record, edit, label, save and submit auditions for review, just like a typical voiceover audition, so having the ability to produce good quality recordings of the reading material is required.  Turnaround will be fast, so be ready to put your best performances and recordings forward,.  Feedback and coaching will happen during the class/workout.

REQUIREMENTS

For this Audition Prep, we classify a Beginner Narrator as someone with 0-2 audiobook narration credits.  This is a good opportunity for those new to audiobook narration or those that are curious about the process to pick up some useful tips.

If you cannot participate on Friday, March 11, 2022, please do not register at this time.  Try again when your schedule permits.

Once the RSVP list is finalized, participants will be issued audition procedures and reading material on Friday, March 11, 2022 by 9:00 AM (PT)/12:00 PM (ET).  We want to make sure you have ample time to record your audition/sample.

Reading materials will be provided by the VO Lab.

The ability to record, edit, label, save and submit a good quality (sound and performance) voiceover audition from your home.

Participants must adhere to the audition submission procedures and deadline information.
