Audacity 102: How to Produce a Voiceover Commercial (Read Synopsis and Requirements)

SYNOPSIS

This class is the follow up to Audacity 101. Participants will need to be proficient enough with Audacity to self-produce an audio commercial with voiceover, music and sound effects. Learning to mix various pieces of audio and understand the fundamentals of audio production are the goals. For the inspired, the curious and those with the D.I.Y. gene, this class provides the foundation for producing voiceover demos.

REQUIREMENTS

This is not an Audacity beginner class. Completion of Audacity 101 at the DLF VO Lab OR experience using Audacity or other audio recording software/DAWS is required. Prospective participants (those on the Waitlist, as well) may be emailed additional questions to help us understand your knowledge of Audacity. If you meet the criteria, join us.

There may be opportunities for auditing. If so, an email will be distributed as we get closer to the start date of the class.

Participants must be proficient using Audacity software for recording and editing audio.
