Donna Grillo's Animation Workshop

SYNOPSIS

For this class the focus is animation voiceover. Under the guidance of casting and voice director Donna Grillo, actors can expect to explore natural reads and serious takes, work on funny voicings and age ranges, and develop voice prints for non-human characters. There is a good amount of ground to cover, but if you are up for the challenge, it will be time well spent.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Donna Grillo

Casting and Voice Director Donna Grillo has worked on hundreds of episodic tv shows at most of the major animation houses: Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants, The Fairly Oddparents, Invader Zim; at Cartoon Network: Dexters Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, at Disney Jr.; Miles From Tomorrowland (original pilot), Barbie: Dreamtopia (Mattel) to name just a few examples of the projects she’s worked on. Her industrial projects include the U.S. Immigration Service where she cast and directed an animated film in five different languages. Additonally, Donna works in voiceover as an acting coach, demo producer, and business consultant

Seating will be limited for this class, so our guest instructor has ample time to work with each actor.
