SYNOPSIS
This workshop will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional..
A reader will be available on ZOOM during the class.
All actors will need to email a PDF of their chosen 2 minute maximum scene to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation for the reader by 9:00am PST on August 11th. The subject needs to be Casting Access - Alexis Allen Winter. The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading if you are doing a scene.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Alexis Allen started casting in the southeast on productions such as One Tree Hill, Eastbound and Down, and We're the Millers. She made the move to Los Angeles in 2012 and has worked most notably for Laray Mayfield, Rich Delia, Courtney Bright/Nicole Daniels, Tamara Notcutt, and Sheila Jaffe in recent years.
She is passionate about actors and creating a more efficient casting process that benefits everyone, while bringing her industry into the 21st century by utilizing the technological tools that are at our fingertips. Her classes focus on audition and self tape tips, as well as how-to's for new and developing actors in representation, headshots, and submissions.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will receive a link inviting them to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be sent the link to join the class.
