CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Ronna Kress has worked for over 25 years as a casting director for feature films and television.
She started her career working in extras casting in New York. She moved to Los Angeles and as was the associate for 3 years at Warner Bros. for the legendary casting director, Marion Dougherty. Next she went to work as the associate for David Rubin, casting such films Romeo and Juliet and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Her credits as an independent casting director include Academy Award winning films Moulin Rouge, Mad Max: Fury Road, Ford v. Ferrari and The Blind Side. She cast the first in the series of both The Fast and The Furious and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. She was the EVP for Feature Casting at 20th Century Fox from 2016-2019.
She is currently casting Hourglass for Apple and Legendary and Based on a True Story for Peacock.
