SYNOPSIS

Whether you’re brand new to narration or you’re David Attenborough himself, if you have an interest in voice to picture work, then this session is a must! Join award-winning documentary director/producer Tom Putnam and voice actor/director/coach Robin Reed for a class that will stretch the boundaries of your on-mic storytelling skills. The session will begin with a brief introduction  to be followed by a live work session with a handful of pre-selected participants. Each reader (see note below) will receive direction and detailed individual feedback. Every participant will benefit from listening and learning from two industry powerhouses. The class will include a brief lecture that provides a snapshot of this corner of the industry and conclude with a live Q&A for all in attendance.

NOTE ABOUT READERS : This class will have a very limited number of readers. Readers will be randomly chosen from the waitlist and be notified of their selection by Feb 6th. If you are not notified by Feb 6th, you will not be a reader. If you wish to audit the session (i.e. listen and watch only without the opportunity to read), please leave your name on the waitlist. All members on the waitlist will be considered seated as auditors. If you do not wish to attend as an auditor, you have until midnight the night before the class to cancel yourself online so as not to incur a no-show.
