SYNOPSIS
This in-person class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Actors will choose a scene that most appropriately represents them from Film/Television. The scene should be 2-3 pages long. A reader will be available during the class.
All actors will need to provide a copy of their sides upon check-in for the class or email a PDF of their chosen scene to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation. If emailing sides, they must be sent by 5pm EST on Tuesday, March 28th. The subject needs to be Casting Access Remote w/ Eddie Rabon. The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading.
AGENT BIO
EDDIE RABON has been a member of the Take 3 Talent team since 2011 after spending 5 years with a NYC-based boutique talent management company. Eddie manages film and television projects for the agency’s 18+ clients and theater for all of Take 3’s clients.
Since joining the T3 team, he’s shepherded countless Broadway debuts — in fact, making that phone call to a client is his favorite thing about being an agent. You name a NY-based television show, and he’s booked a T3 client on it, including series regulars for Fox and Disney+ to name a few.
Eddie has a degree in Musical Theater from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. He splits his time between NYC and the Catskills. When he’s not ‘working on his fitness’, he enjoys spending his “free time” hiking and frolicking in waterfalls and painting.
REQUIREMENTS
All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
Everyone entering the building must present a valid ID, Proof of Vaccination, and is required to wear a mask. Actors may remove masks for performances, and instructors are invited to remove masks while giving adjustments or feedback.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
