PANELIST BIOS
Mitch Bukhar is a Talent Agent at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Bukhar is based in the Los Angeles office and represents many of the world’s leading actors, including Gabrielle Union, Michelle Rodriguez, Dan Stevens, Hunter Schafer, Lucy Hale, Krysten Ritter, Dacre Montgomery, Toby Wallace, and Rufus Sewell, among others.
Bukhar began his career at WME. He joined CAA in 2019. Bukhar graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with degrees in Communications and Culture, and Telecommunications, with a focus on media and society, and a minor in Marketing.
Steven Gersh is a Motion Pictures Talent Agent and Partner at Gersh, a leading entertainment agency for 75 years. He works in the Los Angeles office representing actors such as J.K. Simmons, Tom Hopper, Meagan Good, Josh Hutcherson, Isabel May, Deepika Padukone, Max Thieriot, and Matt Czuchry.
Graduating from Duke University with a BA in political science and an MFA from USC's Peter Stark Producer's Program, Steve sits on the agent trainee committee and the culture committee at the Agency. He began his career at Gersh in 2006 as an assistant.
Senior Talent Agent Fatmata Kamara returned to A3 Artists Agency after two years at CAA. Fatmata spent six and a half years at Abrams Artists Agency before it rebranded as A3. She is originally from Virginia and came to LA in 2006 as an actress. With a passion for discovering new talent, she began her agency career at Talent Works before spending four years at Buchwald.
Jacqueline Kim is currently an agent in the Talent Department of United Talent Agency, working with a versatile range of actors, filmmakers and production companies both domestic and global. Her current roster of clients includes Nicole Beharie, Sinqua Walls, Jack Dylan Grazer, Daniel Dae Kim, and Na Hong-Jin.
Prior to this, she originally began her career in entertainment at Innovative Artists. Jacqueline is originally from San Diego and a UCLA alumnus.
Madeline Whitesell is an Agent at WME in the agency’s Talent department. In her role, she represents both actors and filmmakers, working across Film and TV. Her roster includes Kathryn Newton, Sienna Miller, Felicity Jones, Dylan O’Brien, and Eva Longoria.
Madeline joined WME in 2017. A graduate of Wellesley College, Madeline currently resides in West Hollywood with her fiancé and Bernese Mountain Dog, Roman.
Candido Cornejo is a proud Latinx trans casting professional with over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She has worked with prestigious casting offices including veterans Ronnie Yeskel, Fern Champion, Scott Genkinger, & Pam Dixon. Prominent credits include ‘The Hatfields & McCoys’, the Freeform hit show 'The Fosters’, and the Artios award winning production of ‘Zoot Suit’ for the CenterTheatre Group. Candido is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, particularly for the Latinx and trans/nonbinary communities. As of recent, she has completed casting for “The Answer To My Prayer” executive produced by Eddie James Olmos and Nancy De Los Santos, and two films for the “Launchpad” season 2 for Disney+ where she launched a worldwide search for a 2 Spirit Teenager for the first ever of its kind shown on a major platform.
