SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A and an IN-PERSON prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.

All confirmed participants will have until the morning of the class, Wednesday, April 26th at 9AM PST to email castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation to confirm which scene you will perform in the class. Please use the subject Casting Access - Seth Caskey when you confirm your sides. If you do not confirm which sides you've chosen, you will NOT be able to perform.

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Seth began his professional casting career in 2015 working for casting directors Elizabeth Barnes and Tannis Vallely. He’s worked on such projects as the Emmy-nominated Netflix series GLOW, What/If, Siren and Blood & Treasure. Their work on GLOW earned them 2019 & 2020 Artios Awards nominations alongside fellow casting director Jen Euston.

Seth served as co-casting director on the Quibi short form series, Don’t Look Deeper directed by Catherine Hardwicke, and the Freeform Pilot, Close Up, executive produced by Pete Nowalk. His most recent work was on the Jeremy Renner-led season two of Mayor of Kingstown with casting directors Cathy Sandrich Gelfond and Erica Berger.

He is an active member of Casting Society, the Television Academy and Teamsters 399. 

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.

Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will receive a link inviting them to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be sent the link to join the class.
