SYNOPSIS
This virtual class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Please prepare a scene from film or TV; two minutes in length or less.
A reader will be available on ZOOM during the class.
All actors will need to email a PDF of their chosen scene or monologue to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation for the reader by 2pm PST/3pm/MT/5pm EST on Monday, September 11th. The subject needs to be Casting Access - Kathryn Brink. The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading.
The Zoom link will be sent out one hour prior to class.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Kathryn Brink began her career casting after being trained as an actress and working as a Producer for primarily TV commercial production. Her passionate love and advocacy of actors has earned her a reputation as being a gem for casting local talent and seeking out the undiscovered and up and coming.
Her 25+ years experience as a Casting Director for principals & dayplayers for film, TV and commercials in the Southwest has her established as one of the premiere CD’s in the area. She has cast internationally and was recently the North American Casting Director for Woodwalkers and sole CD for Sunlight, The Absense of Eden She was the New Mexico Casting Director for the productions of: Macgruber Season 1, Deadly Illusions, Robots, Corporate Animals, Running With The Devil, Transpecos, Hellbent, Burning Bodhi, Frank, The Guest, Odd Thomas, MacGruber, Lemonade Mouth, Easy Money, In Plain Sight, The Burning Plain and Wild Hogs. She’s also done casting for Disney, Discovery Channel, Fox TV, Hallmark Hall of Fame, Lifetime, Amazon, Universal TV.

REQUIREMENTS
All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
