SYNOPSIS
This online class will provide feedback from an experienced casting professional. No more than 20 performers will be participating.
Tiffany will host a 90 minute online Q&A via Zoom on Thursday, September 7th at 11AM PST/2PM EST. Participants will receive a Zoom invitation the morning of the class.

After the Q&A, all class participants will select a 2 minute max scene, based on a role that most suits them. Participants will have until Monday, September 11th 9:00AM PST/12PM EST to rehearse, record, and upload their self tape video. You will upload the video using your YouTube account and email the unlisted YouTube video link to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation, with the subject Casting Access - Tiffany Little Canfield. The casting professional will review your self-tape video and provide written notes.

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Tiffany Little Canfield, CSA, was nominated in 2022 & 2023 for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for the Comedy Only Murders In The Building, nominated in 2017 for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for the Drama Series This Is Us, and nominated for Grease Live in 2016. She is a casting director for theatre, film, opera, television and commercials at one of New York’s busiest casting offices, The Telsey Office. In 2015, she relocated to the west coast to open The Telsey Office Los Angeles Branch. Her team's recent film projects include In The Heights, The Little Mermaid, The Greatest Showman, Hearts Beat Loud and Disney's Into the Woods. Some of Tiffany’s recent television projects include One Day at a Time, Atypical and I’m Dying Up Here. Tiffany was honored with the CSA Media Access Award for promoting awareness, accessibility and accurate depictions of people with disabilities. She and Bernie Telsey also won the Robert Altman Spirit Award for their work on the film Margin Call. Also an opera lover, she cast Baz Luhrmann’s production of Puccini’s La Boheme (Broadway and Los Angeles companies) and Anna Nicole the Opera at BAM.
SELF TAPE INSTRUCTIONS
Your video will ONLY be accepted IF:
Your video is shot horizontally. If you need to shoot on an iPhone or tablet, turn it sideways.
It is appropriately framed. Standard framing is top of the head to mid chest.
The video has good sound, clarity, or lighting. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it cannot take away from your performance.
You have a non-distracting background. If you cannot provide a solid background, a minimal background is best.
Your video has DOES NOT have title cards or subtitles. They are unnecessary.
Your video is set as Unlisted. Videos that are Private or Public will not be accepted.
You “share” the video through YouTube. You must email the video URL to the specified email address.
You mark your video as Not Listed for Kids. Videos are unable to be sent to the instructor with this setting. (ie Listed for Kids means content for children.) Click here to watch a video tutorial.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register
