SYNOPSIS
This online class will provide feedback from an experienced casting professional.
There will be a Q&A with the Casting Director as well as live feedback on ZOOM on September 5th.
Alexa will be sent your Casting Access Profile headshots and assigning sides ahead of time based on your headshots (make sure they are up-to-date). Instructions to update your headshots are listed below. Must cancel by Friday, September 1st at 9AM PST | 12PM EST, when headshots are sent for assigned scenes. Actors will rehearse and record the assigned scene prior to class and performances will be submitted in the form of a self-tape.
Participants MUST be able to complete their self-tape and submit it to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation, with the subject Casting Access - Alexa Pereira by 9AM PST | 12PM EST Tuesday, September 5th. Please do not be late, to allow Alexa to view the self tapes in real time prior to the class. On the same day, Alexa will host a Q&A/Watch Session via Zoom and give notes to actors in real time while the class watches the self tapes together. All participating actors must have the capability to watch the class' self-tapes during the Q&A/Watch session.
Only actors who have submitted their self-tape by the deadline and following all instructions listed below, will be invited to the Q&A/Watch Session and receive feedback on your performance.

SELF TAPE INSTRUCTIONS
Your video will ONLY be accepted IF:
Your video is shot horizontally. If you need to shoot on an iPhone or tablet, turn it sideways.
It is appropriately framed. Standard framing is top of the head to mid chest.
The video has good sound, clarity, or lighting. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it cannot take away from your performance.
You have a non-distracting background. If you cannot provide a solid background, a minimal background is best.
Your video has DOES NOT have title cards or subtitles. They are unnecessary.
Your video is set as Unlisted. Videos that are Private or Public will not be accepted.
You “share” the video through YouTube. You must email the video URL to the specified email address.
You mark your video as Not Listed for Kids. Videos are unable to be sent to the instructor with this setting. (ie Listed for Kids means content for children.) Click here to watch a video tutorial.

REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register
