CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Meg began her career as Associate, then Manager of Casting in the Feature Film Department of 20th Century Fox working on such films as Ice Age, Unfaithful, and From Hell.  Following her time at the studio, Meg worked with Shelia Jaffe on several studio and indie films including The Italian Job, Be Cool and The Machinist.

With Sundance films Me and You and Everyone We Know (Miranda July, John Hawkes) and Steal Me (Hunter Parrish, Paz del la Huerte), Meg stepped out into a solo casting career.

In late 2004, Meg partnered with Sunday “Sunny” Boling to form Morman Boling Casting and together they have focused on quality, character driven films and series. Most notably Hello, My Name is Doris, Waitress, Hunter Gatherer, I Believe in Unicorns, Life Partners, and Mississippi Damned.  Festival favorites turned theatrical releases include The Ballad of Lefty Brown (Bill Pullman, Jim Caviezel, Peter Fonda) and Unlovable (John Hawkes, Melissa Leo) and I’ll Meet You There (Faran Tahir, Sheetal Sheth and Qavi Kahn)

On the series side, MBC cast projects for major studios, the Emmy nominated Relationship Status and other upcoming series.

Meg and Sunny have recently added narrative podcasts to their resume with several series including Blackout (Rami Malek), Echo Park (Harry Shum Jr), Last Known Position (Gina Rodriguez) and the soon to be released The Mantawauk Caves (Jonathan Tucker)

An Artios Award winner and Heller Award nominee, she has served on the board of Casting Society of America and as a casting advisor for Film Independent’s Directing Lab and Global Media Makers project.
