SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.

Participating actors will prepare a scene from film, tv, or theatre no more than two minutes in length.

All actors will need to submit their chosen sides for the reader by 5pm EST/2pm PST on Monday, September 25th. A link to submit will be sent out upon confirmation of registration.

RSVP'd Actors will receive a ZOOM Invitation to participate one hour before the start of the class.


CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

JUDY BOWMAN, CSA (she/hers) has been casting theater, film, and television in NYC since  1993.  She has cast numerous short films, webseries, and audio projects.  Regional Theater work includes work at Woolly Mammoth,  McCarter Theatre, Dorset Theatre Festival, Arizona Theatre Co, Cleveland Play House, SF Playhouse,  Kitchen Theatre Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Village Theatre, Profile Theatre Co, Luna Stage  & A.R.T. In NY, she co-cast Mamet’s “The Old Neighborhood” on Broadway and many off-Broadway  productions. Artios Award nomination, PT Barnum Award recipient. Extensive teaching experience  include University’s MFA Film Program(Adjunct), Harlem School of the Arts(faculty), Columbia &  NYU Steinhardt. www.judybowmancasting.com

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
