Tim Dunigan has been a Member of The Screen Actors Guild for over 25years. He spent most of those years as a working actor on a multitude of Television Series and shows, including portraying “Davy Crockett” for the Disney Co. remake of the classic series in 1988 and as “Captain Jonathan Power” on the Science Fiction Series “Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future” ,which was the first interactive television show.
Seventeen years ago he decided to put his Successful Acting Career on the back burner to pursue new and different challenges in the Business world. He started off by running a division of a Gourmet Food Brokerage for a friend and in three years increased the profits for that division over 300% Finding a new interest and talent for understanding and working in Finance, he then moved into the Mortgage Sector by becoming a licensed Loan Officer. Over the last 13 years he has progressed to become the Senior Loan Consultant with The First Rate Financial Group in Westlake Village , California . He specializes in attaining financing and handling the mortgage needs for anyone looking to purchase or refinance a residential home up to four units. He also Specializes in the unique problems that his fellow actors and associates in the Film Business face in qualifying for a Home Loan, especially in the present market. He is one of the Original participants of the SAG Foundations “Life Raft “ Series, and believes that having a solid understanding and grasp of Finance is one of the keys to any successful career. Tim spends a great deal of his time trying to educate on the subject of Credit and Real Estate Investing, and how it can be a financial foundation to build on for the future. .
With so many changes in the world of Mortgage in the last year, Tim is excited and grateful to the Foundation to have the opportunity to cover and help educate the SAG Members in this area.
Neil Daly, founder of the Daly Financial Group, was born in Chicago and attended school at Northern Illinois University. A professionally trained writer and actor, Neil moved to Los Angeles and has appeared in numerous film and television shows as well as a number of commercials. But his ability to educate and his knack for connecting with his audience make him a versatile and engaging public speaker and product endorser. And in 2000, he began working for the Los Angeles Unified School District; instituting a cutting edge college preparatory program for High School seniors.
It was here that Neil became aware of the damage ignorance and apathy did to young people's financial futures. Very few of his students or fellow actors and writers for that matter fully grasped the concept of "credit" and what it meant to them. Neil then utilized his acting and writing skills and accepted a position at a San Fernando Valley credit restoration firm and quickly moved up the corporate ranks; eventually reaching the top position of Senior Account Executive before eventually going into private practice. In 2005, Neil launched his flagship credit restoration and consulting enterprise, the Daly Financial Group.
Neil Daly has spent the better part of the past few years honing his craft as a speaker; educating himself on all facets of Credit Restoration & Management, Debt Negotiation, FICO scoring, and Real Estate Law. He is also extremely well-versed in all areas of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and consumer protection rights as they pertain to both the individual and the small business. He has also amassed an extensive personal contact list at all major credit card issuing banks, auto-lenders, mortgage brokers, and collection agencies; not to mention his personal liaisons at the credit reporting bureaus.
As a SAG member, Neil continues to play an active role in the entertainment industry and remains a consultant for the Los Angeles Unified School District and continues public speaking tours aimed at educating college graduates, first time home buyers, and even mortgage brokers and real estate agents on their credit profile and debt management. But most importantly, Neil Daly remains the face and voice of the Daly Financial Group, the premier credit restoration and consulting firm in California, and continues to dedicate himself to improving his clients’ overall quality of life via credit restoration and financial improvement consultation.
