ABOUT ANYA

Anya was born and raised in Los Angeles to a family of artists and teachers.  The theater was her home away from home from the time she was a little baby all the way through college, where she got her BA from UCLA’s school of Theater, Film and Television.  In her senior year, she got an internship in casting and fell in love.  It was her calling!

Upon graduating, Anya got a job working with the amazing Jane Jenkins and Janet Hirshenson and had the privilege of working with Steven Spielberg, Rob Reiner and Ron Howard.  In 1999, she co-founded CFB Casting which eventually became Colloff/Nicolo in 2011.  She has 4 Emmy and 2 Artios nominations and is most known for her work on Party Down, New Girl and Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. What she loves most about casting is being a part of meaningful storytelling in both comedy and drama.  She also LOVES animals and is a mentor at https://weareempower.org.
