SYNOPSIS

This virtual class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Michelle Tidwell. 

Participating actors will prepare and submit a self-tape of a scene of their choice from film or tv, two minutes in length or less for live feedback from Michelle.  Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.

Participants will receive a Zoom invitation the morning of the class.

ABOUT MICHELLE

A graduate of the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia, Michelle began her career in communications and entertainment in Atlanta before moving to Los Angeles. She cut her teeth on films such as "The Revenant” and "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” before becoming a co-casting director on the ground-breaking series “Fresh Off The Boat". She is currently a co-casting director on ABC’s upcoming series “High Potential”, Netflix’s live-action series “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, and the revival of “Party Down” for Starz. She relishes the opportunity to collaborate with actors and share the knowledge gained in her 14-year-long career.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
