SYNOPSIS
This class will include a one hour Q&A with Atlanta based Casting Director Jessica Fox-Thigpen. Actors will then receive written feedback on pre-submitted self-tapes.
Participating actors will prepare and submit a self-tape of a scene of their choice from film or tv, two minutes in length or less. Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.
ABOUT JESSICA
As Owner of Fox Casting, Jessica Fox-Thigpen specializes in casting scripted projects for film, television, commercials, and dramatic serial podcasts (Tomorrow’s Monsters featuring Darren Criss and John Boyega). Projects include over 130 combined episodes of hit true crime television and feature films His Killer Fan, A Unicorn for Christmas, Catch a Killer and Escape from Love. Recently, she has added “producer” alongside her casting credit with the soon-to-be-released feature films Home Safe and The Great Lillian Hall. 2024 brings another slate of exciting film projects in which she will be both casting and producing.
Jessica and her team utilize the top online casting tools to reach the widest pool of available talent. By nurturing relationships with more than 1,000 agencies across both coasts, Jessica and Fox Casting can bring the best principals and leads for any project. Years ago, Jessica honed her casting eye with Mick Dowd Casting in Los Angeles, where she helped secure talent for commercial campaigns. Accounts included Oscar Meyer, Discover Card, Toyota, 7-Up, Miller Light, Bud Light, AT&T, Oil of Olay, Six Flags, Cheerios, Maybelline, Ford and Cheer. She also assisted with casting the Orion Pictures film Hoosiers starring Gene Hackman.
After spending the next 20 years as Co-Owner of Travis Fox, Inc., Jessica helped individuals foster a world-class mindset in their business and personal lives. She produced live entertainment and multi-media products, working with clients like Honda, Goldman Sachs, T-Mobile, Huddle House, Coca-Cola, Wells Fargo and Bell Atlantic. Jessica is a member of the Casting Society of America as well as the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She resides in Atlanta with her family.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
