"Get out of your head." It's a common mantra in voiceover, but it's not always easy to achieve. In this class, you will learn some "unique" techniques to help you produce more authentic performances by not overthinking the process. INSTRUCTOR BIO
Josh Daugherty
Born in Eugene, Oregon, Josh got started in VO as a radio DJ in Oregon at 19 years old, working 3 stations at once: Hot Country, News/Talk and Adult Album Alternative (AAA). He moved to Los Angeles in January of '98 and got started on-camera doing commercials (over 70 at this point) and TV shows including CSI, Navy NCIS, Judging Amy, Providence, Supernatural and many others. He has been the voice of Charter TV/Phone/Internet, Bud Light and been featured in commercials from McDonalds, 7-11, Velveeta, Honda and Pizza Hut. In addition, Josh played the role of Tom Saubers on the David E. Kelly's adaptation of Stephen King's trilogy, Mr. Mercedes starring Brendan Gleeson, Holland Taylor and Jharrel Jerome.
REQUIREMENTS
Frequency Restriction: If you attended Josh's class on January 24, 2024, you are not eligible to attend this class. We want to make this learning opportunity available to other actors that were unable to attend last month.
Participants must be present for the entire program (see Duration above).

This is a class led by a guest instructor. The instructor may choose to work with a limited number of readers. If so, readers will be selected randomly in class. Attendees are not guaranteed an opportunity to read with/for the instructor. Keep in mind that there is a lot to learn in voiceover by listening and understanding how to turn direction and coaching into improved voiceover performances.
