Synopsis

What makes a great commercial demo? Do I really have to hire a producer? And what do I do with the dang thing once it’s completed?!  Join proud SAG-AFTRA member, popular coach and powerhouse talent Robin Reed for answers to these questions and more. This sixty minute session will consist of a brief lecture that includes the do’s and don’t’s of making an amazing commercial demo followed by a Q&A period. For anyone with questions about, thoughts on, or anxieties around commercial demos, this class is not to be missed!


Instructor Bio 

Robin Reed 

Robin Reed has been working as a voiceover artist, director, and coach in New York and Los Angeles since 2001. She has voiced dozens of national commercials (Campbell's Soup, GE, Lyft, Wheat Thins), promos (Lifetime, HGTV, Oxygen), and animation (Talking Tom and Friends, WordGirl, The Croods). She has voiced shows for Lifetime, recorded books for Hachette, Audible, and performed comedy bits for Conan, The Onion, Yahoo, and more. Robin voice directed the upcoming Amazon series The Hospital, produced by Animal Pictures and Titmouse, starring Keke Palmer, Kieran Culkin, Natasha Lyonne, and Maya Rudolph. She has directed VO and on-camera talent for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Freeform, Sony, Yahoo, and Fortune 100 clients. She teaches a popular voiceover class at The Pack Theater in LA, and coaches and  produces demos for private clients, many of whom have been signed to top agencies in New York and LA. She lives in Los Angeles with her dog, Peter.
