SYNOPSIS
Voiceover is a safe place for character exploration and development. All of those voices you have been perfecting need to be shared with the world, through your voiceover performances. In this class, guest instructor Lori Alan will work on expanding your skills around self-direction, developing confidence in your character choices and using improv for your auditions and when on the job. All with the characters already in your head!
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Lori Alan
Lori Alan, actor/writer/producer, is perhaps best known for her award-winning voiceover work.
She has voiced the long-running role of Pearl Krabs on SpongeBob Square Pants, Diane Simmons on Family Guy, the Invisible Woman on Fantastic Four, and the Boss in the Metal Gear video game series.
Lori is a proud member of the Pixar family, having voiced characters in Wall-e, Monster's University, Inside Out and Bonnie's Mom in Toy Story 3 & Toy Story 4. Lori will soon be sharing her voiceover talent as part of Netflix's upcoming Stranger Things animated series and Warner Brothers' Bat Family.
Lori’s on-camera roles include: Shameless, Loot with Maya Rudolph and as Young Larry’s Mom on Curb Your Enthusiasm. She has also had supporting roles on Will and Grace, Friends and Ray Donovan. On stage credits include The Pee-wee Herman Show, solo show, Lori Alan: The Musical, and the award-winning musical, Reefer Madness .
