ABOUT STEPHANIE

Stephanie Rabinowitz is an Associate Casting Director with Yanklewitz / Pollack Casting. She currently serves as the Associate Casting Director for the Onyx on Hulu series "Deli Boys". She worked on "How I Met Your Father" and the upcoming Netflix feature "Incoming". She can also be seen as part of the HBO Max reality series "Project Greenlight" making several appearances with Seth & Ben who served as the casting directors for the movie that was selected to be produced from the competition portion of the show.

Before joining Yanklewitz / Pollack Casting, she served as Associate Casting Director for Juel Bestrop from 2014 - 2021, working on several series and pilots, including doing 7 seasons of "Brookly Nine-Nine". In 2012 & 2013 she worked on the final 2 seasons of "Mad Men" with Schiff / Audino Casting. In 2012 she also worked on the Sigourney Weaver led USA mini series "Political Animals" with David Rubin. In 2014 she worked with Denise Chamian on several feature films including "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials", "I Saw The Light" & Michael Bay directed feature "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi". She also has worked with several other notable casting directors including: Cathy Sandrich-Gelfond, Shawn Dawson, Carmen Cuba, Peter Pappas, Barbara Stordahl & Angela Terry, and Michael Testa.

Stephanie was the casting director for the gay horror comedy short film "Catfish Killer" which permiered at Outfest 2020. She also partnered with Associate Casting Director Joanna Davis to cast the Daryl Sabara led short thriller "The Hammond Brothers", written and directed by "The Vampire Diaries" writers Melissa Marlette & Jen Vestuto.

Stephanie has also served as the Manager of Talent Relations for Alloy Entertainment finding actors and talent personalities for their media & marketing branded content division. She also spent one summer working in reality casting finding contestants for the Oxygen channel's first season of tattoo competition series "Best Ink".

A graduate of University of Arizona, Stephanie majored in musical theatre with the hopes of moving to New York to pursue a career on broadway. However, she quickly discovered her favorite thing about being part of the theatre arts program was discussing casting choices...what she agreed and disagreed with when it came to her fellow castmates and their roles. This followed a long history of a love of movies, television and actors from childhood. Many nights of playing the "movie game" with her family ended with trips to Blockbuster to look at the back of VHS jackets to verify the validity of some answers. Stephanie was practically undefeated then and now remains undefeated with her family to this day.

After graduation, Stephanie took several meetings at agencies with the thought of becoming an assistant, but knew her passions lay more with the creative process. Through fellow Associate Casting Director (and high school friend) Ally Bader, she was able to secure a casting internship that would change her future. Stephanie got her start in casting in 2009 interning for Jane Jenkins & Janet Hirschenson working on several features including "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" and the Rob Reiner written & directed feature film "Flipped". The rest, as they say, is history.
