SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with Florida based casting professional Lori Wyman, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will prepare and submit a self-tape of a scene assigned by the casting professional prior to class.  Submitted tapes will be viewed in class, followed by a live performance incorporating a redirect from the casting professional in class.  Additional preparation details will be sent upon confirmation.

This class is meant for actors who liv or can work locally in the Southeast.

ABOUT LORI

Lori S. Wyman, M.S., C.S.A. is dedicated to helping actors pursue their passions so they can live their dreams.

Lori most recently has been casting many Independent Films. Last season she was the Florida Casting Director on Warner Bros and Apple TV - MARCEL, And in recent years she cast The Right Stuff, BLOODLINE, BALLERS, Burn Notice, The Glades, Magic City, Pain & Gain, Iron Man 3, Dolphin Tale, Dolphin Tale 2 and too many more to list.

Lori completed her Master's Degree with a concentration in Drama Therapy. She tackled this in order to help actors overcome Audition Anxiety as she sees this as one of the major obstacles facing actors during their castings.

Lori's Book :The Organic Actor: Insider's Secrets to Auditioning for Film and Television is widely acclaimed and a "must have" for any actor who intends to make Film and Television acting a part of their acting career.

Lori has been in casting in Florida since 1979. She has been nominated for 8 Artios Awards and has 1 Emmy nomination. She is a 2 time Artios Award winner for the acclaimed HBO movie, "Recount" and Bloodline on Netflix!

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. 

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
