SYNOPSIS

This in-person class will include a Q&A with New York based Casting Director, Sig de Miguel,  followed by a prepared reading session.

Participating actors will choose and prepare a scene to perform from a selection of sides provided by the Casting Director.  Additional details will be sent upon confirmation.

Sig De Miguel and Stephen Vincent have cast over 150 films including current release GLITTER & DOOM, the film musical with the music of the Indigo Girls, ABOUT MY FATHER starring Robert De Niro, CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG for Paramount, I CARRY YOU WITH ME (NEXT Award Winner at Sundance), RABBIT HOLE (Academy Award Nominee), THE GRIZZLIES (TIFF), HELLO AGAIN based on the Michael John LaChiusa musical, MOST BEAUTIFUL ISLAND (Grand Jury Prize Winner SXSW) NOVITIATE (Breakthrough Director Winner at Sundance), BUSHWICK (Sundance & Cannes), CARRIE PILBY (TIFF), THE INVITATION (Best Picture – Sitges), COLD IN JULY (Cannes and Sundance), WE ARE WHAT WE ARE (Cannes and Sundance), UNION SQUARE (TIFF),  FOR ELLEN (Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee). GUN HILL ROAD (Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominee), HOLY ROLLERS (Sundance Grand Jury Prize Nominee) and ADAM (Sundance Grand Jury Prize Nominee & Alfred P. Sloan Winner).

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. 

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
