CLASS FORMAT
This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Melissa Moss, followed by an actor's choice prepared performance class.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television. Additional preparation details will be sent via email with your RSVP confirmation.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Melissa, a experienced casting associate/director based in Los Angeles, returned to LA a few years ago with La Padura and Hart Casting, where her casting journey began. She collaborated with Julia Kim on the recently aired Amazon series EXPATS and contributed to an upcoming Apple+ series. Her resume includes projects like Disney+'s SECRET SOCIETY OF SECOND BORN ROYALS, USA's TREADSTONE, and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. Previously, Melissa spent nine years in New York, working on CBS's BLUE BLOODS and the debut season of Showtime's BILLIONS, earning an Artios Award nomination. She has worked on many series, pilots, and films in both New York and Los Angeles.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
