SYNOPSIS

This class will feature a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Lisa Zambetti, followed by a prepared reading session.

Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene that will be assigned by the casting director ahead of class. 

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Lisa Zambetti, CSA is a three-time Artios nominated casting director for tv, film, commercials, and video games. She cast the long running CBS series "Criminal Minds" as well as the spin off "Beyond Borders” and was also on the casting team for the critically acclaimed FX pilot "Reservation Dogs". She was nominated in 2023 as "Casting Director of the Year" for her work in the Video Game genre. She’s worked on many AAA video games including “Star Wars Jedi Survivor” and “Indiana Jones: The Great Circle”. Lisa has cast many award-winning independent films and is casting projects for Amazon Audible and Skydance Media. Lisa is an active member of the Casting Society's Equity in Entertainment branch. She is also on the advisory board for Hire Survivors Hollywood. Lastly as an acting teacher, Lisa is proud to be on faculty at UCLA and has also taught for USC, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State East Bay, Wright State, San Jose State University, University of Cincinnati, Whitman College, Pace University and The Actors Studio MFA program in New York City.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class.  No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
