CLASS FORMAT
This class will include a Q&A with Texas based Casting Director, Katrina Cook Bolen, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform a scene from film or TV, two minutes in length or less. Drama only.
Additional preparation details will be sent via email with your RSVP confirmation.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Katrina Bolen is a Casting Director and owner of Katz Kasting. Katrina casts Celebrity talent, Speaking roles and background on a variety of film, TV, Music video and commercial projects nationwide.
Katrina casts a variety of genres, from faith based films, to kids movies, to historical espionage. Her TV credits include commercials for Lego, NFL, DirectTv, UPS, and Walmart, along with notable shows such as Entourage, Lone Star Justice, Sweet Home Alabama, and The Bachelor.
Previous projects have aired on ABC, CBS, HBO, FOX, BET, Lifetime, SYFY, and A&E to name a few. Katrina regularly casts kids for CIY (Christ in Youth) and is always on the lookout for new talent with a passion for acting.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
