CLASS FORMAT
This class is for young performers ages 9-16 only. No adult performers will be admitted.
Harriet will be assigning sides for actors to prepare ahead of class based on their headshots and resumes submitted upon sign up.
Participants will receive the Zoom link approx 1 hour prior to the class.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
HARRIET GREENSPAN is a former New Yorker who has spent most of her career working primarily in Hollywood as one of the town’s top casting directors. For the past 25 years, Harriet has been working on teen and youth-oriented projects along with independent features. Casting for both Nickelodeon and Disney, Harriet has discovered talent who have become some of Hollywood’s top actors and actresses. Harriet has also cast movies for a small division at Warner Bros.
As an acting coach, Harriet has guided many actors in booking big roles on series and movies.
Harriet’s book “Auditionology”, 2nd Edition” is a popular guide amongst kids, teens, young adults and parents. It’s available through Amazon. It guides actors through the casting and auditioning process, taking them on a journey of how to book roles in television and movies.
Harriet Greenspan is also an Artios Award winner for Outstanding Achievement in Children’s Casting.
REQUIREMENTS
All actors MUST be under 18 to attend this class. All RSVD'ed actors ages will be verified via their casting access profile. If not under 18 years of age, you will be removed from the class.
Actors must be paid-up and active SAG-AFTRA members. All members must show a valid SAG-AFTRA card when they check in for the class. No admittance will be granted without your current card or receipt.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received an e-mail confirmation will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted.
Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
