CLASS FORMAT

This class will include a Q&A with bi-coastal talent agent Craig Holzberg, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform a scene or monologue from film or TV 2 minutes (2 pages) or less.

Additional preparation details will be sent via email with your RSVP confirmation.


ABOUT CRAIG

Craig Holzberg moved to Los Angeles in 1982 to pursue a career in acting after graduating from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  

After several years in front of the camera, Craig changed gears moving to NY where he worked for top fashion houses Diesel Jeans and Calvin Klein. After 20 years working in the fashion industry, Craig switched gears again and began his career as an agent with Talentworks in New York City, representing both commercial and legit actors.  In 2005, Craig moved back to Los Angeles and opened his own bi-coastal agency, Avalon Artists Group. Craig has been an agent for 23 years and the owner of Avalon Artists Group for 18 years.

Avalon Artists Group is a full-service talent agency with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami.  Avalon Artists Group represents actors of all ages and categories for film, tv, theatre, commercials, voice over, hosting, industrials, and print.


REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.

The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
