SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with LA based casting professional, Elizabeth Vitale, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform a scene from film or TV 2 minutes (2 pages) or less.

Additional preparation details will be sent via email with your RSVP confirmation.


CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Elizabeth Vitale has been in casting for the past decade. She started her career in commercial casting, but has since worked under some of the most well-known theatrical casting directors in the industry. Some of her latest Associate work includes the television series "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" on Paramount+, "Blue Eye Samurai" on Netflix, and "Love and Death" on HBOMax, as well as recent films such as "Hocus Pocus 2" with Disney, and "Jerry And Marge Go Large" with Paramount. As an Emerson College alum, Elizabeth also partners with graduate and undergraduate programs alike to cast student thesis films as a way to give back to her education under her own company name Vitale Casting.


REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by midnight the night before a class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.

The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
