SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with LA based Talent Agent, Courtney Peldon, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.  

Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation.


ABOUT COURTNEY

Courtney Peldon is a nearly 40-year veteran of the entertainment industry.  She has been the Director of Theatrical at the prestigious boutique agency Aqua Talent for the past 14 years. Prior she spent nearly 5 years as a casting director for hit shows on MTV, VH1, Spike TV, TruTV, Bravo, Showtime, and HBO. Currently her clients range from series regulars, major recurring Guest Stars, co stars, film leads and supporting leads and she also focuses heavily on MoCap in the world of video gaming. She reps celebrity clientele, notable working actors, and some special up and comers.

Originally from New York, she began her career in childhood garnering notoriety for booking hundreds of commercials by the age of 7. That same year she starred in the Tony Award nominated hit Broadway musical "Meet Me in St. Louis" performing 8 shows a week at the Gershwin Theater. She also had an early role on the television special "Adventures in Babysitting". She took on movie roles at the time, appearing in the Matthew Broderick comedic adventure "Out on A Limb" and the Rick Moranis sports comedy "Little Giants". Her work around this time also included a starring role in the TV movie "Little Girls in Pretty Boxes".  She next focused her entertainment career on film, appearing in "Wild Grizzly" with Daniel Baldwin and the comedy "Say It Isn't So" with Chris Klein written by the Farrelly Bros. Notably, she went on to star opposite Johnathan Taylor Thomas for several seasons of the hit ABC series "Home Improvement" as his love interest and also spent a number of seasons on the FOX show written David E. Kelley called "Boston Public".  She went on to appear in numerous other television shows and films before turning her attention to other areas of the business.



REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.

Cancellations are required by the specified cancellation date for that class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone.  Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.  DO NOT BE LATE.  Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time.  If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.

Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.

The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
