SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A with Chicago and LA based Casting Director Marisa Ross, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.
Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation.
ABOUT MARISA
Marisa Ross of Karge & Ross Casting is a television and film casting director based in Chicago, Illinois. Karge & Ross Casting's current slate of productions include: The Chi on Showtime, Power Book IV Force on Starz, Deli Boys on Hulu, Justified City Primeval on F/X, and soon to be released indie feature Albany Road. Marisa Ross & Christal Karge have been working in casting for over two decades in both Chicago and Los Angeles. Some of her other credits include: Chicago Med on NBC, How I Met Your Mother (CBS), Paper Girls (Amazon), Soundtrack (Netflix), The Big Leap (FOX), The 4400 (CW) and Chicago Fire (NBC). REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
Cancellations are required by the specified cancellation date for that class. Cancellation can only be made via the website. You cannot cancel your RSVP via email or phone. Those who have been seated by the start date are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before the start date if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period. DO NOT BE LATE. Check-in begins 15 minutes to the class start time. If you arrive after the start time, you will not be admitted and it will be counted as a no-show.
Attendance for the entirety of the class is required or it will be counted as a no-show.
The use of any type of gun or weapon props are prohibited in classes.
