SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A with New York based Casting Director Patricia DiCerto, followed by a prepared work session.
Participating actors will prepare and self-tape a scene or monologue that will be assigned to them by the Casting Director prior to class. Actors should be prepared to receive a re-direct and perform live in class after viewing their tape.
Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation.
ABOUT PATRICIA
PATRICIA DICERTO (Casting Director) has been involved over the past three decades in the casting of more than twenty-five Woody Allen films, including serving as casting director on such notable films as MATCH POINT, MIDNIGHT IN PARIS*, TO ROME WITH LOVE*, VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA, BLUE JASMINE*, CAFÉ SOCIETY* WONDER WHEEL, A RAINY DAY IN NEW YORK and the recently released COUP DE CHANCE, starring Melvil Poupaud and Lou de Laage. She also cast Allen’s TV series for Amazon Studios, CRISIS IN SIX SCENES which stars Allen, Elaine May, and Miley Cyrus. In addition to her long-standing collaboration with Woody Allen, DiCerto has worked on both large studio projects and independent features with such directors as James L. Brooks, Nora Ephron, David Frankel, Mike Nichols, Alan Parker, Sydney Pollack and Martin Scorsese, and alongside many of the industry’s famed casting directors, notably her longtime association with Juliet Taylor. Most recently, DiCerto cast award-winning AMERICAN MURDERER, ALLSWELL (Tribeca Film Festival best screenplay winner), festival favorite SHARE (Amazon Prime), ABC Family’s FAN GIRL, and Julia Stiles’ feature directorial debut WISH YOU WERE HERE. *Artios Award nomination from the Casting Society of America

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 30 days prior to this event to be eligible to register
