SYNOPSIS
This in-person class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene assigned by the casting professional.
ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael is an Artios Award winning Casting Director / Associate Casting Director based in New York City. He has worked on an array of television, streaming and film projects with various Casting Directors including Beth Bowling & Kim Miscia, Ellen Chenoweth, Rosalie Joseph and Julie Schubert. In 2017, he received an Artios Award for the Pilot/First Season of the critically acclaimed USA series Mr. Robot with Beth Bowling and Kim Miscia. In 2021, he received the Artios Associate Spotlight Award. More recent projects include The Flight Attendant, Partner Track, Hightown, and an upcoming streaming series for Disney+.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
