SYNOPSIS
Audio Book Narration with a focus on inner dialog and outer Dialog. We focus this class on the skills that enhance your storytelling dialogs and understanding that all of your narrative is a dialog besides character conversations. This workshop will define compelling conversations to tell the author's story and help you understand that the book's entire text is a dialog. Paul directs and casts narrators and has a direct approach to each narrator, embracing their unique narration style.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Paul Liberti
Paul Liberti is a Los Angeles based casting director, voice director and acting teacher. He is also the co-creator of AuthorDirect Audio, which directs non-fiction reads for Audible. When teaching Voiceover, Paul specializes in commercial, animation, video games and narration. His diverse teaching experience includes university acting programs. independent acting classes and working with voiceover actors though the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.
Paul is also a dialect coach for films, Broadway and London's West End Theater, and Regional Theater with recent shows like Disney's Frozen, USA Network's Falling Water, The National Theater's One Night in Miami, Greater Tuna, Anastasia, NYC’s My Fair Lady, Carousel, Brigadoon and many others. Paul has been a voice actor for Pokemon, Blues Clues, Noggin's Pinky Dinky Doo, Saturday Night Live Cartoons, Sesame Street and Jim Henson's Muppets. He is currently the voice of Curious George & The Man In The Yellow Hat at www.curiousgeorge.com.
