SYNOPSIS
Motion Capture & Performance Capture are a frequently used element of video games, animation and some film productions. The technology provides new work opportunities, but also requires the acquisition of new skills, such as creating characters with hardly any preparation time, and working in an environment with very little context, no set or costumes, unless you consider the lycra suit a costume. Creating characters and acting from the body is the most efficient way to obtain a fast, embodied and captivating performance.
Participants will learn about movement and techniques required in Motion Capture and Performance Capture. Participants will work directly with Trine (see Requirements below for details), while other attendees will be able to watch and absorb these valuable exercises designed to expand your Motion Capture and Performance Capture skill sets. There will be a brief Q&A session at the end.
