SYNOPSIS
This unique and special class will focus on the art of On-Camera TV Puppeteering. Actors will learn about Puppeteer training and progressive puppet fundamentals that will allow you to communicate your acting, performing and emotions clearly to your audience through TV puppet performance in the Muppet Style, originated by Jim Henson.
You'll also learn industry secrets and important performance tips that will bring you up to speed and expand your imagination. These tools can enhance your acting on so many levels, especially in animation, video games and commercial voiceover.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Paul Liberti
Paul Liberti is a Los Angeles based casting director, voice director and acting teacher. He is also the co-creator of AuthorDirect Audio, which directs non-fiction reads for Audible. When teaching Voiceover, Paul specializes in commercial, animation, video games and narration. His diverse teaching experience includes university acting programs. independent acting classes and working with voiceover actors though the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.
Paul is also a dialect coach for films, Broadway and London's West End Theater, and Regional Theater with recent shows like Disney's Frozen, USA Network's Falling Water, The National Theater's One Night in Miami, Greater Tuna, Anastasia, NYC’s My Fair Lady, Carousel, Brigadoon and many others. Paul has been a voice actor for Pokemon, Blues Clues, Noggin's Pinky Dinky Doo, Saturday Night Live Cartoons, Sesame Street and Jim Henson's Muppets. He is currently the voice of Curious George & The Man In The Yellow Hat at www.curiousgeorge.com.
