Join us for a panel conversation and puppetry demo with executive producers and performers from Donkey Hodie, the PBS KIDS series from Fred Rogers Productions and Spiffy Pictures. Ellen Doherty, David Rudman, Haley Jenkins, Frankie Cordero, and Stephanie D’Abruzzo will discuss the development of the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood-inspired series and their careers in puppetry and children’s media, as well share insights on the craft of puppeteering and working as multi-hyphenates (performer/director and performer/writer). Cast members will demonstrate their puppet characters and discuss ways that they develop and find characters in puppetry, from voice and physicality choices to partner work and improv.

This program will feature audience Q&A and the opportunity for a limited number of audience members to work with a puppet.
