BIO:

Acclaimed as one of the greatest actresses of her generation, Jessica Lange has dazzled audiences both on stage and on-screen with over 30 credits to her name. Lange has won a Tony Award, two Academy Awards, three Emmys, five Golden Globes, and one SAG Award. She made her Broadway debut in 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and garnered Tony and Drama Desk Awards for her performance in 'A Day’s Journey into Night'. Earlier this year, she earned a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the Broadway debut of 'Mother Play'. From her rise to fame in Dino De Laurentiis's remake of 'King Kong' (1976), she went on to receive Academy Awards for her performances in 'Tootsie' (1982) and 'Blue Sky' (1994) and Emmy Awards for her work in 'Grey Gardens' (2009) and the 'American Horror Story' series.

Lange can currently be seen in HBO’s critically acclaimed 'The Great Lillian Hall' in which she stars in the titular role earning rave reviews calling out her stellar performance. Directed by Michael Cristofer, and starring Lange, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Jesse Williams and Pierce Brosnan, 'The Great Lillian Hall' tells the story of Broadway actress Lillian Hall (played by Lange) who pours her heart and soul into preparing for her next big role but finds herself blindsided by confusion and forgetfulness. She strives to make it to opening night while holding on to her fading memories and identity.

Also a noted photographer, Lange has had her prints published as well as shown in exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, and Barcelona. A documentary about Lange’s deeply personal journey through the worlds she has captured with her Leica M6 camera over her twenty-year career in photography is in the works.
