Assigned Sides with Paul Ruddy

SYNOPSIS

This in-person class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with LA based Casting Director, Paul Ruddy.

Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene assigned by the casting professional.

ABOUT PAUL
Paul has cast over 200 films and television series for Netflix, Tubi, Lifetime, Hallmark, Disney, Dreamworks, Syfy, Fox, Paramount + and NBC/Universal, with A-List talent including Nicolas Cage, Harvey Keitel, Constance Wu, Rita Moreno, Jack Black and Michael Douglas. In addition, he has cast numerous award winning theatrical productions for The Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica. An Emmy-Winner for the Netflix series “Eastsiders,” Paul’s recent television credits include the AMC horror anthology series “Creepshow” and the Paramount+ docuseries “Mafia Spies.” Other notable talent Paul has cast include Fran Drescher, Sydney Sweeney, Peter Bogdanovich, Justin Long, Mena Suvari, Richard Kind, Donna Mills, Harvey Guillen, Molly Ringwald, Ryan Kwanten, Eric Close, Gena Rowlands, Cameron Monaghan, Chad Michael Murray, Jackie Weaver, Vinnie Jones, Keith David, J.D. Pardo, Tanner Buchanan, Darren Barnett, Cole and Dylan Sprouse and Nicholas Alexander Chavez.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
