SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with New York based casting professional Danielle King, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will prepare and perform a scene from film or television.  Sides will be assigned by the casting director ahead of class. Additional preparation details will be sent upon RSVP confirmation.

ABOUT DANIELLE

Danielle King is from Houston, TX and has been casting in NY for the last 6 years. She has quickly moved up from a casting intern at MTC where she worked on CHOIR BOY (Broadway) to a freelance Associate Casting Director in TV/Film. She has worked on shows for several networks and streaming services including, Apple+, Amazon Prime, EPIX, (HBO)MAX, HULU, Showtime, and more. Currently, she is the Casting Associate on And Just Like That (MAX) and Only Murders In The Building (HULU). She is a proud graduate from Howard University's Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts and a teamster member.  

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. 

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
